Prologue
The formation of objects/artefacts by systemically analysing the relationship of words. By sectioning the said words onto a map that are separated by colour squares. Each square/section would represent an area in which the object/artefact can be developed into a form that represents the words. The text within the map is all related. The relationship is used to create visual forms but first, the relationship is expressed by free writing. This freewriting consists mainly of research that all begins with a single word. Which is not random but carefully selected from a given brief. Once selected, the initial research will be used to create an introduction which then becomes the first section of the word map. From there another word is chosen from within the introduction. The new word will eventually become another section that can be made into an object/artefact. Apart from the introduction, six sections are the total amount to be made before changing the process. What will now happen will involve researching to the point where you end up at where you began. As in the same word. Hence you are restraining the output of work so that it doesn't become too much. Therefore you can focus on the sections you have already started to make sure they are refined and up to a standard that reflects a professional finish and not mediocre. Once done the bulk of new research can be turned into a furthermore six sections. Thus six initial sections and six secondary sections. Which accumulate into a collection of twelve pieces. However, the main aim is to finish the first six sections. Simply because there is a time restraint with every given brief. The reason for twelve is because of the following. One is single, two is a couple and anything equal or after three can be considered a collection. Therefore three sections is the bare minimum needed for the body of work I am to undertake. Six would be the max because it is doubling the minimum. The term collection is used within the fashion industry to describe the number of pieces included within the designer show. The main shows of every year are spring/summer and autumn/winter. Hence every six months. Therefore twelve would represent both shows by the number of months of the year. Although I haven't got a full year for this project, I still have a significant amount, on that account, the number twelve is the ultimate goal. Yet I wouldn't need to rush it to complete twelve. Because 6 is the max already, hence any number after is just extra. The word map consists of 3 maps made into one. The first is the original which means that the number of words within each section has no limit. The second is refined where the word limit is to 6-10. The third is extra which consists of the second six sections.
